Cost of joint Azerbaijani-Iranian cars revealed

Neftchala, Azerbaijan, April 5 By Ilkin Shafiyev - Trend: The cost of cars to be produced at the Khazar joint automobile plant of Azerbaijan and Iran, located in the Neftchala industrial park, will amount to 14,000-16,000 manats, the chairman of the Board of AzerMash, a co-owner of the plant, Emin Akhundov, told reporters on April 5. By the end of 2018, the plant plans to launch production of new models, which will cost a little more - 18,000-20,000 manats, he noted. Production of Dena, Rana, Soren and Samand brands, as well as a number of Peugeot models is established at the plant. The annual capacity of the plant will be about 10,000 cars. In the future, it is planned to deliver cars to Ukraine, Russia and the countries of Central Asia.
